| HSE AND ROTUNDA HOSPITAL HELPLINES HAVE NOT BEEN MANNED SINCE FRIDAY 31ST JULY 09 |

Parents for Justice Ltd were today shocked to discover that the HSE Helpline is no longer manned and it has not been manned since Friday 31st July last. If a family has concerns they can leave a message on the Helpine number and this will be picked up later in the day.
The Rotunda Helpline has been ceased completely since 31st July last and if an individual makes contact with that number they are given another number to phone to make their enquiries.
When this organisation spoke to the HSE and the Rotunda Hospital today we were informed that a decision was taken by both to discontinue the Helplines on 31st July, one week after the Willis and Carter Reports were published and families were left to face into more heartache. We are wondering how much, if any, consideration there is for the families affected.
